Geoff initially studied an Art Foundation course at St Albans College of Art followed by achieving a BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Norwich School of Art in 1981.

He has exhibited in various Hertfordshire galleries and was also selected for the New Contemporaries exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London.

Early inspiration for his work came mainly from the Hertfordshire landscape and figures in the landscape but frequent visits to Cornwall were always more inspiring with the ever changing weather conditions and variety of textures in the landscape.

Now living in Cornwall, Geoff works mainly in oils and graphite where he enjoys studying the light and atmosphere of a landscape through expressive brushstroke and colour. His work is a result of an emotional response to the landscape where composition and mark making play an important role in the execution of the work. •
